Kira Zitney

is a freelance makeup artist in the metro Atlanta area, passionate about all things beauty. She grew up in the small town of Fairfield, Alabama and discovered her love for makeup as a child from watching her mother get ready in the morning. It wasn’t until attending college at the University of Alabama at Birmingham did she truly discover her future career path. She started doing makeup on friends, classmates and eventually worked on the annual Black Student Awareness fashion show. The feedback she received was overwhelmingly positive and she became encouraged enough to pursue a career in makeup artistry. After moving back to the metro Atlanta area, she continued freelance work and has worked with many brands including: Lottabody, Design Essentials, AARP, and Barely Xtensions. She has also worked with the likes of Regina Belle, Donnie Simpson, Lynn Whitfield, Andrea Kelly, Terri Vaughn, supermodel Jessica White, Jermaine Dupree, Nicole 'Hoopz' Alexander, and actress AJ Johnson.
